Idles, stylised as IDLES, are an English punk rock band formed in Bristol in 2011. Their debut album, Brutalism, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. This was then followed by their second album the 2018 release of Joy as an Act of Resistance. Which has also seen high critical acclaim.
